It was a 2 out of 3 success story for the Tricolours at Manuka Oval on Sunday.

First grade won back to back AFL Canberra premierships with a 94 to 52 win over the Belconnen Magpies. Ainslie coach Chris Rourke delivered again with this being his fourth premiership for Ainslie. Rourke has coached the Tricolours for more than 200 games, with previous wins in 2010, 2011 and 2016.

Second grade played a brilliant game and dominated Queanbeyan in an 88 to 47 win making it through their entire 2017 season undefeated for a second year running.

The Tricolours were so close to a trifecta for the second year in a row but fell just short of the historic milestone with Rising Stars going down to Marist 49 to 36.

Well done to all the players, coaches and everyone else who works behind the scenes to get these teams to where they are today. We couldn’t be prouder and look forward to another fantastic footy season in 2018!
